Olivia Molyneux

Specialist Clinical Dietitian

My Passion

I experience on a daily basis the life changing impact nutrition has on people. My passion for health and nutrition is deeply rooted in a desire to make a positive impact on individuals. I am committed to sharing my knowledge and expertise to help others unlock their full potential for health and wellness.

My Journey

I received a First-Class Honours in Food and Nutrition BSc which developed my understanding of not only nutrition but also how consumer marketing and the food industry works. This provided an invaluable insight into the tips and ticks used by the food industry that can sometimes be a hindrance your health goals without you realising.

Following my undergraduate degree I decided to delve deeper into my interest for both health and nutrition by completing a Masters of Science in Dietetics at King’s College London. My education and experience allows me to confidently diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems using the most up-to-date research on food, health and disease.

Over the last few years, I have gained clinical and non-clinical experience covering a variety of specialism including weight management, diabetes, gastroenterology, renal issues and oncology.

I currently work within the NHS as well as in the private sector. My role in the NHS specialises in Cardiology and Cardiothoratrics at a leading central London hospital for heart health. I have experience working with people who have multiple co-morbidities such as diabetes, hypertension and obesity. I see acutely unwell patients in a critical care setting who have often experienced a life-threatening illness or injury and require complex nutritional support. I also support my patient’s longer term recovery to ensure they receive optimal nutrition to promote continued health.

Everyone is unique, with individual lifestyles, preferences, background, medical histories and genetics etc. Therefore, I ensure to use a personalised approach to target your issues and help reach your goals. My consultations are a safe and welcoming space for us to work together towards better health and wellness.
