Something About Me
My Passion
I’m passionate about the power of food to support both physical health and overall wellbeing. I believe that eating well isn’t just about nutrients—it’s about enjoying food that’s both delicious and nourishing. Throughout life’s many changes and challenges, food can be a powerful foundation for resilience and vitality. My mission is to help clients harness that potential, using sustainable, enjoyable eating habits as a starting point for long-term health.
My Journey
My own journey into nutrition began through sport. As a competitive rower at the international level later in life, I saw firsthand how profoundly nutrition could impact performance and recovery. That experience sparked a desire to understand the science behind it.
In 2009, I earned a Foundation Degree in Nutritional Therapy from the University of Bedfordshire, followed by an Honours Degree from Middlesex University in 2011. During this time, I continued to work as a food writer, authoring over a dozen cookbooks—many exploring therapeutic diets, including the Paleo Diet and, more recently, The Clever Guts Diet with Dr. Michael Mosley.
My interest in sustainable food systems led me to complete an MSc in Sustainability in 2021, deepening my focus on how we can nourish ourselves in a way that’s good for both people and the planet.
What I Do
Nutritional therapy goes beyond generic advice about “healthy eating”—it’s about using evidence-based nutrition tailored to each individual’s unique biochemistry and life circumstances. My goal is to help every client find the right diet and lifestyle to support their optimal health.
A key part of my approach is providing practical, personalised menu plans and recipes. Drawing on my background as a food writer and recipe developer, I help clients discover how enjoyable nutritious food can be. These resources are designed to make healthy eating realistic, sustainable, and—most importantly—delicious. I believe that when food tastes good, it’s far easier to build long-lasting habits that truly nourish the body.
